Duo

The Duo chair is designed for children and adults who require postural and positional changes associated with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, stroke, traumatic brain injury or dystonia. For those individuals with limited movement there is an increased risk of developing an unconventional body shape; therefore if assistance can be provided to manage posture through a multi-positional seating system then the risk can be significantly reduced.  The Duo is available in major, minor and mini sizes to accommodate children and adults.  The Duo range provides flexible adjustment and positioning opportunities with the choice of either manual gas action or electrically powered tilt-in-space. 3 different seat module types are available, from pressure relieving Visco foam to Intelli-Gel®, and with a choice of 2 backrest styles, the cushioned waterfall or the Sculptured Reflexion™ foam.   Air cushions can also be incorporated onto the seat base.  Seat height is adjustable on the electric versions, while back height, seat depth, seat width, arm height, lateral support and headrest position can be adjusted on all Duo chairs. Armrests are removable for side transfers, and the arching elevating leg rest is height adjustable.
